FLOWER SHOW • A Nashville showhouse without fresh arrangements? Not on our watch. We spotlight the nine floral artists who have put on a spectacular

putting on a SHOW • With a star-studded lineup of design talent in tow, goes to Nashville to create a showhouse filled with a medley of voices that combine in perfect harmony.

MEET OUR DESIGN TEAM • We draw attention to the creative talent behind the FLOWER Showhouse. Each designer brought ideas and inspiration—not to mention furniture, fabrics, and accessories—to illustrate that stylish rooms always brim with personality.

Margaret Kirkland • “The entry spaces open to other rooms, so we wanted to introduce a tone of warmth and welcome from the start. We were inspired by storied English country houses and what you might encounter in them.”

Stephanie Molster • “This is a sanctuary for the lady of the house—a place to write daily correspondence at the desk, curl up with a book on the sectional, or host a friend for coffee by the windows.”

Susan Ferrier • “In rooms with this much volume, I incorporate bold gestures to create movement so the eye always has something to take in. The tropical print wallcovering with its reflective finish brings everything together and feels enveloping and grounding.”

Corey Damen Jenkins • “Our theme for the study is ‘Town and Country.’ The ‘town’ is the lady of the house—more sophisticated and fashion forward. The ‘country’ is the husband—a bit more laid-back and chill.”

Aldous Bertram • “My inspiration springs from an English garden, from the colors to the floral prints to the faux bois wallpaper in the water closet.”

Mark D. Sikes • “I was inspired by a recent trip to Tangier. I wanted this room to feel like you are in an emerald—sensual and exotic like Morocco.”

Eric Ross • “I always say that a room should drive home a mood. The drama of black accomplishes that and is a counterpoint to the brighter colors in the house.”

Tara Shaw • “The living room’s sereneness stems from a quiet palette and a hand-painted, sepia wallcovering that envelops you as the room reveals treasures the owners could have collected over decades.”

Mark Kennamer • “I wanted to bring down the scale of this large room and make it as cozy as possible with a studied balance of rustic and refined elements and a somewhat unexpected palette.”

Rachel Halvorson • wanted the two spaces to feel British in spirit and style and speak to each other through color, texture, and a layering of prints.”

Rebecca Gardner • “We looked to the kitchen at Brighton Pavilion for inspiration, and the scullery is set in a flurry of excitement for a banquet to be held ‘upstairs.’ It’s a fantasy—a showhouse is a party!”

Amanda Khouri • “I’ve brought the natural world into the cutting room with a backsplash handcrafted from willow branches, along with floral shades that ensure something will always be in bloom.”

Forbes Masters • “This room is all about vibes—relaxing, lounging, playing games, and just musing. The paper has a metallic finish which casts a lovely glow, both in day and evening.”

Parkes & Lamb • “A mudroom is obviously utilitarian, but we wanted to dress it up and imbue a rich, cozy feel in the space.”

Ellen Kavanaugh • “We created a destination evocative of Miami in the late 1950s and envisioned a grande dame hostess named Marigold. She’s whimsical, colorful, and a little bit maximalist. Imagine snowbirds dressed to the nines having cocktail parties by the pool every night.”
